Simple & Easy Summertime Cake!

I first made a Kool Aid Cake when I was around 14 years old, just experimenting with cake box mix. So this cake just remind me of summer, since I use Tropical Punch Kool Aid in the mix. I have made this cake for my friends & they all loved it! Now it's your turn to WOW your friends with this very easy recipe!

Ingredients:
1 box any white/vanilla cake mix
1 small packet of Tropical Punch Kool Aid
1 container of Cool Whip
1 container of Strawberry frosting

Directions:
  1. Use cake mix as directed on back of box
  2. Mix in the Kool Aid, stir completely.
  3. Bake as directed on box, if your pink cake is starting to get brown spots it's completely okay. It still needs time to bake and the frosting will cover any spots it may have.
  4. Let Cool
  5. As it is cooling, mix the cool whip & strawberry frosting, just folding. Place back in fridge.
  6. Once everything is cool, frost your cake!
This cake is very simple, but it makes a statement! Also this cake could be made in to cupcakes, to make a more hand friendly food during the summer!

If you do try this cake & make it with a different Kool Aid & such, leave a comment below and tell me what you did!
